Zion Baptist Church was founded in 1864. One of five African-American churches in Alexandria after the civil war, the congregation purchased this property on South Lee St in 1881.

Project 365

Hi, I'm Teejay. This is the consolidated home of my Project 52 and Project 365/366. This started as a fun challenge to try to post a photo a day. It’s evolved over the years to multiple photos per day, then a short break, then a few photos weekly, and then back to a photo per day.
