Shiloh Baptist Church on Duke St was founded in 1863 and this building dedicated in 1893. It was one of 10 black churches in Alexandria after the civil war to support the growing African American population. This building is now the youth center and the main church nearby.

Project 365

Hi, I'm Teejay. This is the consolidated home of my Project 52 and Project 365/366. This started as a fun challenge to try to post a photo a day. It’s evolved over the years to multiple photos per day, then a short break, then a few photos weekly, and then back to a photo per day.
