Difficult to see through the trees, but this house on the corner of Princess and N St. Asaph was once the Alexandria City Jail. Built in 1827 and sold to developers in the 1980s. Not surprisingly, there are many horror stories about lynchings and mistreatment of black inmates and slaves.

Project 365

Hi, I'm Teejay. This is the consolidated home of my Project 52 and Project 365/366. This started as a fun challenge to try to post a photo a day. It’s evolved over the years to multiple photos per day, then a short break, then a few photos weekly, and then back to a photo per day.
